A 1 on 1 environment is crucial to success. External distractions can be a hindrance to very valuable and intensive therapy sessions, which is why we want to make sure that each appointment is utilized to its full potential. Our ample therapy rooms allow for each child to receive the care that they deserve without sacrificing quality. Furthermore, we have multiple therapy rooms with one-way observation mirrors so family members can discreetly watch their child’s therapy sessions and watch their progress in real time.
By implementing our kindergarten-readiness ABA preschool program into our facility, children have the unique opportunity to develop social skills with their peers in combination with therapy. Many children attend Scottsdale Children’s Institute from 9am-12pm and then transition to their 1 on 1 therapy sessions for the afternoon. This full-day schedule allows them to immerse themselves in the center and it truly becomes a hub for them.
Community is important to us. We wanted to have a space for our families to meet for support, for kids to play, and for our staff to train together. From hosting Lego Night’s for children all over the North Valley to parent training seminars, we created a space where everyone can feel welcomed and benefit from our facility.
Parent involvement is crucial to our treatment services. We like to meet with parents as often we can to share updates on progress and discuss any changes that may need to be made. By having multiple, private, spaces to meet with parents we hope to exude our eagerness to remain transparent and above all let them know that we are always open to discussions. Our conference rooms provide private meeting spaces to discuss your child's unique needs in-depth.
We designed our new Administrative building with growth in mind. With ample space for our current doctors, BCBA supervisees, and administrators, we plan to bring even more professionals to our team to accommodate every patient. These spaces also allow for wider availability for 1 on 1 Parent/Doctor meetings.
