Effective. Compassionate. Comprehensive.

Our Treatment Empowers Long-Term Growth and Success.

Treatment is where change begins to happen, with children who are empowered to gain better control and parents who are able to enjoy more positive, peaceful moments at home. Our team provides comprehensive behavior-analytic treatment to patients who present with a variety of behavioral deficits (behaviors that do not occur frequently enough) and excesses (behaviors that occur too frequently). Our treatment plan may include:

1

Comprehensive ABA Therapy

Our behavior technicians deliver skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction services in the clinic, home, school, and community settings. Services can range from 10-40 hours per week with multiple staff members and occur across a combination of settings. We address every facet of a child’s behavioral functioning—including functional language, social skills, play skills, academic skills, self-care skills, problem behaviors, and more.

2

Parent/Teacher/Caretaker Training

Throughout the treatment process, our BCBAs will provide behavioral skills training (BST) for all caregivers involved, including behavior technicians, parents, teachers, and other caregivers. This reviews behavior-reduction and skill-acquisition targets and provides actionable strategies that adapt to any situation

3

Instructional Programming

Our clinical team will design and tailor skill-acquisition programs to systematically increase adaptive, social, play, academic, self-care, and functional language skills. These goals will be identified through assessments as well as parent consultation. In addition, parents will learn to implement skill-acquisition programming and will be instrumental in ensuring patients generalize new skills in all relevant environments and with a variety of caregivers.

4

Problem Behavior Reduction Programming

After conducting a functional analysis, we develop a comprehensive, function-based treatment plan detailing the antecedent, consequence, and other environmental manipulations necessary to reduce and replace problem behaviors with functionally equivalent adaptive behaviors that are safer, healthier, and more effective for the child and family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Autism Treatment Help Children Even Without a Cure?

Yes and even though there is no known cure for autism, research-backed therapies can make a real difference in a child’s growth and daily life. We use approaches like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and play-based interventions to help children improve communication, social skills and everyday abilities. Our goal is to help each child reach their potential and give families more positive, calm and connected moments together.

What Does Evidence-Based Treatment Mean for Behavioral, Communication and Educational Support?

Evidence-based treatment means using therapies that research has shown to produce lasting improvements. At our center this includes ABA, Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and structured teaching strategies with visual supports and predictable routines. We also adjust behavioral supports for children with anxiety or emotional challenges. All of our methods are safe and supported by scientific research.

How Does Autism Treatment Work With Speech Therapy, AAC and School Support?

We coordinate closely with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and school teams to create shared goals for each child. For children who need extra communication tools we help implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems such as picture boards or voice-output devices. Our clinical BCBAs attend school and IEP meetings when needed to keep progress consistent at home, in the clinic and at school.

Does Autism Treatment Include Medication?

Medication does not treat the core traits of autism. It can help manage related challenges such as irritability, anxiety, attention difficulties or mood regulation when recommended by a doctor. Our team works with medical providers so behavioral and medical strategies support the child as a whole.

What Makes Our Approach to Autism Treatment Different?

We combine the structure of ABA with flexible real-life practice to meet children where they are. Our programs focus on learning new skills, long-term growth, independence, friendships and lifelong learning habits. Through parent coaching, social skills practice and ongoing collaboration across settings, families experience positive changes together.
